Our Hockey Puck Prank Was Just Featured on TrendHunter
The Puck Drop™ hockey puck prank was recently featured by TrendHunter, highlighting the unusual Canadian prank concept.

Sometimes the most ridiculous ideas turn out to be the most fun.
Recently our newest prank product, The Puck Drop™, was featured on TrendHunter, one of the world’s largest trend discovery platforms. Seeing a small Canadian prank idea appear on a global trends site was a pretty surreal moment for our team.
The concept behind The Puck Drop™ is simple, strange, and extremely satisfying.
You can anonymously mail someone a real hockey puck with a custom chirp written directly on it.
That’s it.
No envelopes. No disguises. Just a solid regulation hockey puck arriving unexpectedly in someone’s mailbox.
And when it lands, it lands with a thud.
Apparently that level of harmless chaos caught the attention of TrendHunter, which highlighted the prank as a unique novelty concept coming out of Canada.
If you’re curious about the feature, you can read the article here:

We originally created The Puck Drop™ because we thought the idea was funny. Hockey culture is full of chirps, rivalries, and playful trash talk, so the idea of sending someone a literal puck in the mail felt perfectly on brand.
It turns out we weren’t the only ones who thought it was funny.
Since launching the product we’ve seen people send pucks for:
- beer league rivalries
- fantasy hockey punishments
- bachelor party pranks
- friendly chirps between friends
- and the occasional “you know what you did” mystery message
The best part is the moment the recipient realizes what just arrived. Opening a mailbox and finding a real hockey puck sitting inside is confusing, hilarious, and slightly alarming all at the same time.
Exactly the reaction a good prank should create.
Being featured on TrendHunter is a huge milestone for our small Canadian prank shop. We’re incredibly grateful that weird ideas like this can still surprise people and make them laugh.

And if you’re thinking about sending one, just remember:
Someone, somewhere, is about to open their mailbox and wonder why a hockey puck just showed up.
And that moment of confusion is exactly what makes it worth it.
Can You Really Mail a Hockey Puck?
Yes. A regulation hockey puck can legally be mailed as long as it is packaged correctly. The Puck Drop™ turns that surprising fact into a prank experience by allowing people to send a real puck anonymously with a handwritten message.
If you have ever wondered whether you can mail a hockey puck, the answer is yes. And sometimes the results are hilarious.
